We had a lovely experience staying at The Ascent for almost two years. The grounds are always kept up well and the office staff is kind and helpful. The gym is clean and functional and the outdoor pool area is kept clean as well. Sometimes maintenance can be overwhelmed which adds frustrating time to requests (we went a few weeks without a dishwasher at one point) but those issues seemed to be getting resolved with new maintenance staff (as of mid-2026). Overall, the location is quiet, surrounded by lots of great sidewalks and close to many amenities like Perry Crossing. Lots of bird watching in the walkable areas nearby. We especially loved the apartments for our dog. It’s a very dog-friendly complex with a dog spa which is so helpful! It’s a safe and well kept apartment complex with great management staff.
